Wasps overcame a Jacob Umaga red card to keep their Champions Cup hopes alive with a memorable victory over last season’s winners Toulouse.
Jacob Umaga returned from his two-game ban to start at fullback as Wasps cope without FIVE of the players who contributed to becoming the first side to defeat Leicester Tigers last weekend.
The 23-year-old, full-back was ejected by referee Chris Busby following a head-on collision with scrum-half Martin Page-Relo on 34 minutes. Despite the fact that it was an accident, the referee thought there was no mitigation
Despite Umaga receiving a second red card in as many months in the 33rd minute, Wasps held on to win.
