Wales international Aled Davies Made received Yellow Card due illegal hit on Sale Sharks scrum-half Faf de Klerk

The Saracens scrum-half Aled Davies was yellow carded for the ‘reckless’ hit.

Commentating for BT Sport, Austin Healey immediately thought it had to be a red. “I think Davies has gone for that challenge. I think it’s a head on head. It’s reckless. There’s no arm, is there?” he declared.

ex-English international Ben Kay added: “If there’s any head contact, he’s in big trouble Davies. He does get nudged by his own player as he’s going in there. That might be the only mitigation.
