In NTT Communications Shining Arcs Tokyo Bay Urayasu’s League One match against the Panasonic Wild Knights, former Wallaby Israel Folau scored another stunning individual try.
With only ten minutes remaining, the Shining Arcs fullback sliced through Panasonic when his team needed a play.
Folau intercepted a stray pass that appeared to be destined for a turnover before fending off Shota Horie of Japan and Kiwi prop Craig Miller.
Folau slipped his tackle and broke into the backfield past the halfback, swatting Horie away for a second time. Folau put on a goose step and ran around the outside of the fullback before outsprinting flyhalf Rikiya Matsuda.
Marika Koroibete, a former Wallaby teammate, could only dive over in unison with Folau as he scored under the posts.
The try tied the game at 24-all, but Panasonic would go on to win when Horie’s magical offload set up a try for the Wild Knights mere minutes later.
Tokyo Bay was unable to do much with their final possession before being turned over the ruck, but Folau’s performance is one of the greatest in League One so far.
